Students above 14 years are placed in the pre-vocational stream and 17 years and above are placed in the vocational program. To prepare them for earning their own livelihood in the long run, the following activities are undertaken in the centers (these activities are in addition to the trainings given for the activities for their daily living)

Gardening techniques
Making of consumable products
Making of arecanut products
Tailoring
Candle making
Weaving
Basic pottery
Arts and crafts
Functional academics (using calculator, time concept money)
Visits to office, bank, post office, travel in public transportation, going to nearby park
Taking part in various cultural events and competitions
