We have adopted the practice of curative education in our centres. Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Anthroposophy, initiated Curative Education in the year 1924. It was further developed by Dr Karl Konig, who started the Camphill movement.
It is an individualistic and holistic approach to teach children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The teacher through his/her curative work brings the body, soul, and spirit together, which are imbalanced, back to harmony/balance.
Our day-care center is truly unique as it provides an opportunity for our children to attend school like other normal children — even with uniform. Each student receives a specialized and customized training based on his/her individual needs and condition.
The Comprehensive Curative Education System provides necessary Therapy, Medical help, Special Education, Academic Education and any other special interventions as needed by each and every child.
As part of their regular curriculum, our students also undergo training in carpentry, pottery, cooking, tailoring and gardening.
The key goals of this education system are to help the students to develop good social skills and awareness of self while aiming to reach their full potential.
