The special young adolescent and adult members of our family are engaged in various vocational projects producing a wide range of useful products. These products are now kept for sale in Arvind’s store- a small outlet operating at K.K Nagar, Chennai.
Supported by a full-time employee, our students are entrusted with responsibilities such as sale transactions, handling customers and managing the store. This hands-on experience enhances their confidence in due course
A part of the sale proceeds is paid as stipend to those young adults. This acts as a huge motivator. The summer 2019 was a record creating period with these youngsters producing more than 10,000 areca nut products.
