For the past 10 years, we follow a philosophy called “Anthroposophy”, a system of comprehensive curative education to provide our students a source of livelihood.
It is an approach (initiated by Rudolf Steiner in 1924) for children with limited developmental and intellectual abilities. With the help of healing activities like art, education, eurythmy, songs, rhythmical movements, hand work etc. a balance in the body, soul and spirit is achieved. Curative education works to strengthen and support the soul forces of the special needs individuals to nurture healing development.
As a measure of social therapy, these special children are engaged in productive vocational projects as they grow up to become adolescents and adults, which throws light on the importance of self-grooming, personal hygiene and safety. Dedicated activities help them in identifying their strengths and interests in a particular field which they may pursue as their career.
